Pre-Hurricane Rita
Pictures mentioned in the Rita Category of this blog.
My Fish Pond
Gypsy loves to drink from the waterfall even when it isn't running.
Note that I did a bit more clean-up after taking this picture. The turtle is now living in my garage.
The Fishes Temporary Home
The fish are not terribly pleased with the move. As you can see they are huddling together. The light fish are the two koi.
Surprsingly, the back-up pump has managed to get clogged even though there is very little of anything other than water and fish in the pond. There was a bit of sediment that ended up being transferred as a result of scooping the fish out. Those things are fast even in a confined area.
My Pool Area
This gold dog is Sheeba. She's a golden retiever and chow mix. Gypsy you see in the foreground is an Australian Shepherd.
As you can see we sunk the doghouse, if you can call floating upside down in the pool “sinking” Our spare airline approved dog crate is also sunk in the pool along with the patio table. Other than the temporary fish pond next to the house there is nothing left but the leaves that have dropped from the trees since we swept.
